From Frizzy to Straight...and any length of hair will do; short, long, layered or one length!
Pin-straight, glossy hair never goes out of style. I feel it's important to use the right products and drying techniques when wanting a pin straight looking hairstyle.
Shampoo and condition. Start with wet hair, shampoo and condition as you normally would. If your hair is frizzy and dry be sure to use a fabulous conditioner to protect your hair from your heat styling tools. Oh, also, remember, shampoos and conditioners with natural ingredients are best and easier on your hair. I prefer products that are silicone-free and sulfate free to keep damage free and healthy.
Rinse your hair: Before getting out of the shower, rinse your hair with cold water it keeps your hair from frizzing and creates a gorgeous shine and closes the hair shaft to protects your hair from any heat damage caused from styling.
Towel dry: Gently towel dry your hair by gently patting off the excess water. gentle vs rough!
Comb your hair out vs brush. Comb your hair using a wide-tooth comb to detangle your hair. Brushing wet hair can cause damage and breakage to your hair.
Straightening spray: Apply straightening spray or balm. Apply to ends and make sure to cover all areas of your hair. This will protects your hair from split ends and breakage.
